Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is a well-known American after winning American Idol's debut season. The show's win that catapulted Kelly Clarkson to fame as it also secured her an agreement with RCA Records 19 Recordings & "S Records" for a series of albums. Since then, she has released a number of studio albums. The three albums made it to the US Billboard 200 chart, however, others narrowly missed the mark. They consider her to be one of the many of the most popular American Idol artists. After achieving success, she explored a variety of topics and styles of music, often co-writing her songs in accordance of her own feelings. Her uniqueness and vocal ability earned her critical acclaim and a number of prestigious prizes. She was awarded the Grammy Award is her most famous recognition. In addition to her work in music, she's also been featured on film and television. She also co-wrote the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and is involved in a variety of charitable organisations.
